The Centre has fully embraced Performance sailing with the arrival of the former National coach, Thomas Chaix, in winter 2016-2017. With training conditions and facilities second to none for competitive sailors, it was natural to add Performance as a branch in the Centre sailing pathway “sail for life”.
No other commercial Centre is providing that standard of coaching!
With our very versatile in-house coach, the range of classes we can support and sailors we can help progress in the national (and international) ranks is wide, so whether you are a young Optimist sailor starting to enjoy racing or a Laser Master looking to regain past glory, you will find what you are looking for in our Performance section.
The Centre supports the ISA Performance pathway delivering expert training to all recognised junior and youth classes. We bring national and international renowned coaches to support Thomas when necessary.
